This Man Called Jesus - An easy to Run Easter Play
by Eleanor Jeans
This comes complete with music and cross-curricular project work – includes photocopy permission – Ideal for KS2
Section One contains all the information for the production itself.
Section Two contains links to other curriculum subjects.
Section Three links the material to the National framework for RE.
Section Four contains the full script of the play.
Finally, there is an appendix containing sheet music and word sheets for the songs.
The play can be approached as a single performance, or the scenes may be divided up and performed by different classes on the same day or over a week. It is also possible to take just one particular scene and perform it in isolation. The play would also be suitable for use in a church situation, especially with midweek groups.

Play and Pray Through Lent
Editor Kay Warrington
A family resource; stories and activities to use with children at home - Ideal for 5-7a – Stories, Activities, Talk about ideas, photocopy permission.
Comments from field tests at the start of the book show the diversity of the uses, home, school and church.
Based on the Revised Common Lectionary, the book suggests ways in which children can engage with the story of Easter during the six weeks of Lent in a creative way. This is achieved using very simple visual items, such as a story cloth and card figures, to give an ongoing focus. The project covers all three years of the revised Common Lectionary and may be started in any year, (A, B or C)
