Cry Freedom

Powerful Restoration Through the Touch of the Spirit

by Mary Pytches

GoodBookStall Review:
Some people appear to find it hard to move into the freedom promised in Scripture. Whether they are driven by the need for acceptance, have a compulsive eating disorder, or some form of addiction their life and the promises of the Bible do not seem to match up. In Cry Freedom Mary Pytches tries to look at why this is the case. Using both the Bible and psychology, Cry Freedom is an exploration of how our past experiences can be a barrier to us being who God wants us to be. This book is accessible, being taken from talks given at the New Wine event, but those involved in healing and pastoral care may want something more in-depth. While this book can be used on its own the accompanying course on DVD, ICC1078D, £14.99, makes it an ideal tool for a small group.
