These Words are taken from the previously published Words for Today 2010, published in this form to make them accessible to those who cannot cope with the discipline of daily reading throughout the year, but want to have something simple as a Lent Book and hopefully encourage them to adopt daily reading throughout the year..
Each week’s theme and subsequent daily reflections and prayers are written by different contributors. Each Bible reading is taken from Luke, usually in the order they appear in the Bible unless it is included to fit a particular theme.
The brief biography and photo of each contributor helps us to see ‘where they are coming from’ and their suggestions for further thought, I found helpful too.
