Hillytown Biscuit Church at Garibaldi Hall
by Ruth Whiter
GoodBookStall Review:
The second of the Hillytown books and another entertaining read for young children. Of the various themes introduced into this story the main one is the problem of having separated parents and not understanding the reason why. Jake has other lessons to learn too. While he and his friends, who we met in the first book, are away on a parish holiday, they steal away from the adults and find all sorts of answers in unexpected places.
