I can see this book being cuddled more than read!
A warm furry cover with a baby teddy bear looking sweetly to one side, who has fluffy ears just right for little fingers to fiddle with, short stories with their Bible reference and softly coloured illustrations with Tiny Bear appearing on every page spread. Even Goliath is not exactly frightening, as little David has already won the battle. The words are in rhyme – always an extra attraction – and the last sentence of each story is addressed to Tiny Bear, with very simply explanations of the meaning of the pieces. The purchaser of this book will not be able to keep their hands off it, and the recipients will have to be persuaded to leave go, for it to be read.
