As usual with this series the book is much more than the superb model it contains. There is a history of the Temple from the very beginning, of the Tabernacle, the preparations made by King David for his son, King Solomon, to build a magnificent house for God and the story of its building, and its existence through to its destruction. The many illustrations, maps and photos give an excellent idea of how it must have been. When the model has been made, you are left with a reference book that will be of value for years to come.
