GoodBookStall Review:
A tour of Britain in pilgrimage with words as well as pictures to underline and highlight the richness of Britain’s history and spiritual ancestry, this is a delightful book which will grace many a coffee table as well as theological library. The author has a wonderful narrative way of leading us through the holy ground of the country from the ancient system of parish boundaries to the windswept coastlands of this island. He finds that almost everywhere in Britain in town, city or rural area we can find something of our Christian heritage and past and a place for pilgrims to gather. This is a beautifully illustrated book with some stunning photographs and winning words – not cheap but well worth the investment and a book to cherish for a long time and to be used as a pilgrim guide as well.
