War of the Worlds
How to Avoid Leading a Double Life
by Adrian Plass
GoodBookStall Review:
There are flashes of the humour that we expect from Adrian Plass, but this is more serious than other books of his. Now ‘Writer in Residence’ at Scargill House Conference Centre in North Yorkshire, he has had time to ponder many things, and this book addresses several different subjects starting with Death, Prayer, Entry into the outrageous, frightening, funny no-mans-land of Christian commitment, ( a lovely Plassian chapter heading) through many others, to the final chapter, Coming home. You will need to spend time with this book, doing some pondering of your own, but it will be time well spent.
