God’s Dangerous Book
The Surprising History of the Worlds Most Radical Book
by Nick Page
GoodBookStall Review:
This is a fantastic book that provides an informative and friendly history of the bible from its creation(?) to today. Almost a whistle stop tour at heart but one with good highs and lows and a fair amount of illustration to make sure you don’t miss any of the key points in the journey. Think of it as your tour guide through the bibles history and you’re not far from the mark at all with this one.
Given it’s come out in the same year as the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible and it’s timed perfectly to be of great assistance to those not quite sure what the fuss is really all about, as well as being perfectly positioned for anyone doing any sort of bible study work who really needs to or would like to know more about the development of the bible in a painless, relatively quick and easy way.
