These Strange Ashes
by Elisabeth Elliot
GoodBookStall Review:
I enjoyed this book, I am uplifted by personal experiences and hearing about the power and plans of God. Elliot’s unique writing style is captivating and inviting into her new world of the Ecuadorian jungle. Elliot’s passion to serve God and trying to discern His plans and timings strikes a cord in most people’s walk with God no matter where they are in the world. That aside I couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed with the story though. I wanted Elliot to go further and deeper and tell more. I felt the stories were curtailed and therefore overall the book was shorter than I had wished.
