Travel With John Calvin
Geneva's Minister Whose Thinking Changed the World
by Kenneth Brownell
GoodBookStall Review:
The book is a mixture between travel guide and Calvin’s life story. The author is a Baptist minister and also a professor of church history. This mixture is obvious in his writing as well. His point of view is faith, but his background is that of an educated theologian. If you are looking for interesting information about John Calvin, you probably feel the desire for a journey in his footsteps after you read the book. The combination of both typical touristic information and basic knowledge about John Calvin and his becoming one of the architects of the protestant reformation is intriguing. All in all it’s certainly worth its cost.
