This delightful book teaches little ones that the church building, is just that. It is the building that the church uses to worship in and meet each other. The church is the people, not the building.
This is shown by almost stick figures, coloured in as a child would do. The simple text is printed as if handwritten, and dwells on who the church is, and what we believe, by faith. Each page spread expands on a theme such as family, missionaries – all of us, servants, learners, worshippers.
The introduction and the notes at the back are for the adult reading the book to pre-schoolers, it is worth taking time with these, not plunging straight in as if this were just another story book.
