Answering Ten Common Objections to the Christian faith
by Amy Orr-Ewing
GoodBookStall Review:
Here is a book that is brilliantly written as a resource to find radical and relevant and really balanced answers to questions and put-downs that are often raised by sceptics, or worse, at events like Alpha courses, pub conversations and other group gatherings. Despite only being 144 pages, Amy Orr-Ewing has an amazing gift to be able to drill down into the core of a clever question and to demonstrate by example how to see what is behind the such topics as: Your relationship with God is just a psychological crutch: Why Does God Let Bad Things Happen to His Friends, or Belief in God is Dangerous.
I would recommend this book for anyone who is keen to share their faith with friends and colleagues, anyone going to university or any church member involved in evangelism within their church. It will raise your faith levels by giving the reader greater understanding of the strength and security of their faith and provide a good template for handling and explaining why Christianity is not afraid to stand up to real and honest scrutiny
