My first thought was that this is an ideal stocking filler to make sure children remember why they are receiving gifts – it is Jesus’ birthday! My second thought was that many children will only hear of Christ’s birth by Nativity plays performed at school, and these are often of necessity a garbled version of the Bible story. Here in this mini form is packed the story as we are told it in the Bible: a reminder to the adult giver as well as to the child recipient. A little book with a huge story.
