Harvest from Heartache

A Little Boy Dies...and a Dream is Born

by Gail Chamberlain

GoodBookStall Review:
It has taken many years for Gail to be able to put into book form, the story of her younger boys illness and death. It makes for compulsive reading as we travel through the traumas and the brief better times of this family. The strong message throughout is how Gail turns to the comfort of the arms of Christ who she knows is weeping with her, rather than turning away from Christ with anger and resentment. She is blessed with the immense sense of a peaceful presence at the most difficult times. During this time Gail and her husband find the strength to respond to God’s calling to plant a new church in their local school. Their obedience is wonderfully rewarded by the number of people who gather in increasing numbers in response to their leading. The Epilogue which brings their story briefly up to date is full of joy and thankfulness for what has come from one small boy’s life and death.
