GoodBookStall Review:
‘This is the story of the mice that inspired the writing and singing of the Christmas carol ‘Silent Night’. Publisher
The story is told from the viewpoint of the church mice. Now to a little mouse a church is an excellent playground, but loud organ music was bothersome and had to be stopped!
This is a lovely re-telling of this familiar story. How the organ was silenced and how the parish priest asked the organist to compose a simple tune to fit the words of a poem the priest had written, that could be played with guitar accompaniment instead of the organ.>BR> The choice of font is just right to set off the attractive illustrations. A lovely book to be brought out year after year.
