Table Talk: Year C
Beginning the Conversation on the Gospel of Luke
by Jay Cormier
GoodBookStall Review:
It is structured round the lectionary for the whole of the liturgical year - Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and the Ordinary Sundays thereafter. Each day begins with a contemporary story or familiar incident from everyday life and is followed by an appropriate Gospel passage. There is then a meditation ending with a prayer. This book will be found to be of most use to preachers and teachers, but the ordinary reader who wishes to be more familiar with the Gospel story as told by Luke will find much of interest in it.
