I so enjoyed the first book Gone to Green I grabbed this book as soon as it arrived and took it with me to the Christian Resources Exhibition. After days on my feet, what more could I ask for than a warm room, a comfortable bed, and the chance to just sit with my legs under the duvet, reading and reading about familiar characters! Pure bliss!
Inexplicably the two brothers who had sold Lois their local paper demand that she sell it back to them! No way! Lois has just given her staff a share in the business and though times are difficult, there is plenty of support for the paper, and the developments that they are bringing in. The staff work as a team, a team of friends though of different ages and experience. But worrying things happen that put pressure on Lois and it is hard to see how the problems will be resolved.
By the time I went back home all was sorted out, even a few love affairs. A very satisfying read and hopefully there are more Green stories to come.
