GoodBookStall Review:
‘Little Ollie was the smallest of the smalls and like all the Too Smalls in Stiltsville, he desperately wanted a pair of stilts.’
Ollie and the other inhabitants of Stiltsville are beautifully illustrated, the ‘Too Smalls’ live perfectly normal lives in their higgledy-piggledy town until six o’clock every evening when the pompous self important people strut into town on their stilts with the sole purpose of creating envy and discontent. Not that they or the Too Smalls see it that way. The Too Smalls long to be chosen to receive a pair of stilts too, to show that they are better than the other Too Smalls. Poor little Ollie has to learn the hard way that the higher you are the harder you fall, and when you have fallen there is someone, Jesus, who can comfort you and assure you that you are loved just as you are. Expensive for a slim book, but it has a presentation page at the front and will give enjoyment and teaching for years to come to adults and children.
