GoodBookStall Review:
Previously published in 2007 by Hodder, I am so glad this has been re-published and so is available for another generation of little ones.
I wrote in 2007 ‘The stick legs in the illustrations are eye catching and amusing, in fact all the illustrations are guaranteed to appeal to the very young. Look at Goliath! The text, fuller than in some board Bible stories, tells the stories with just enough detail for a little one to absorb. I also liked the choice of stories and enjoyed the way they were told.’
Stories that could be scary are dealt with sensitively leaving room for a fuller explanation when the child is older. Be warned and be ready with them! Your toddler is sure to grow into the Why? When? How? Stage very soon!
