A Yearbook of Seasons and Celebrations
by Joanna Bogle
GoodBookStall Review:
Her earlier Book of Feasts and Seasons, published in 1986 became a classic and still appears on the publishers website. This new book has fresh ideas and further information. An entertaining read, going through the Christian year with factual information, recipes, suggestions for activities for families and appropriate quotations from Catholic writers such as the present Pope, here is a book that believers and non believers can enjoy and learn from. At a time when the secular world seems to dominate our lives Joanna Bogle has given us a handbook to enable us to celebrate our Christian heritage throughout the year and especially at Christmas, Easter and Pentecost, when it feels as though the secular majority are drowning out Christian voices and practices.
