GoodBookStall Review:
Just the name of Max Lucado on the cover will attract readers and rightly so. He has a way with words and a way of presenting his thoughts that makes him extremely readable. This time his subject is Fear and when we should fight against it and when we should heed its warnings.
Max Lucado constantly refers to the Bible and Jesus’ teaching on the subject. He talks about everyday things in his life that we can all relate to and how fear can creep in, and if we let it, take over: but this does not have to be so, we can stand against it. I have just looked back at the Bible quotations at the start of each chapter, they are worth meditating upon before reading further, the following chapter will then have even more meaning.
Fifteen short chapters address many issues and the second chapter , the fear of not mattering has also been addressed in a book for children, a parable called The Tallest of the Smalls
