Introducing Covenant Theology

by Michael Horton

GoodBookStall Review:
The reader is handicapped by not being provided with an index for this book, and so following themes throughout becomes very difficult. That said Horton provides a useful survey of the Old Testament concept of ‘covenant’ – ‘Testament’ itself is thereby illuminated. What is not so clear is the New Testament’s views of the ‘covenant’. Although much is written here about the Eucharist, the implications of a New Covenant in Christ’s Blood are hard to trace in the narrative. Once again one longs for an index, which would help to elucidate an issue which so divides Christians
