GoodBookStall Review:
Beginning with Walter Hooper will be no surprise to anyone even remotely aware of C.S.Lewis’ legacy: ‘this man makes it sound as if the events recorded in the New Testament took place about five minutes ago, and are as important now as they were then’. Many other writers join Hooper in this collection of, for want of a better word, testimonies. Charles W. Colson is perhaps the most surprising name among them, but British readers will also recognize Anne Atkins and a contribution from Lewis’ wife Joy Davidman. The quality of the articles varies, but the over-all impression is one of profundity, and gratitude for the man and his work.
