This is one of those books that is exactly what the title describes. Following a short introduction Preston A. Taylor provides 102 topical Bible studies. The studies are listed in alphabetical order and each takes the student systematically through the Old and New Testament passages relating to the topic being discussed. The subjects covered are wide ranging and include the usual discussions on Baptism, the Scriptures and Jesus’ death as well as the more obscure such as blood, memory and tears. I have to confess that I am not usually a fan of ‘off the shelf’ Bible study notes but this book has really captivated me. So much so that I have recommended it for use in our next series of home groups and am looking at using extracts from it as part of a course for new disciples.
