GoodBookStall Review:
The first of two suspense novels featuring California girl, Abby Sherman, and former Special Forces agent, Dylan Hatfield, this is a robust and action-filled take on Spiritual warfare. Well-researched and with a realistic feel, it takes the reader from one side of the globe to the other, as Abby discovers she is part of an ancient Christian lineage, while Dylan makes the difficult and life-reversing walk from self-reliant unbelief to powerful faith. Together they are constantly pursued and hunted down by the forces of darkness, desperate to prevent Abby from healing the breach that has rendered The watchers ineffective and reawakening them to battle for Christ. I’m thoroughly in favour of anything that gets Spiritual warfare out of its box and into the ‘everyday and everything’ realm where it belongs. Highly enjoyable and thoroughly recommended.
