Relentless is the first book in a new trilogy that looks in some way at the coming of the end of the world, however in this series the protagonist has no idea what he is involved in, just that he has been body swapped and has some new powers he doesn't know what to do with. It is a good solid chase genre book and I do look forward to the next instalments. What I like most about the book though is the subtext that looks at the idea of who we are and what makes us - well - us. The idea that it is our choices that really determine who we are, after all choices are the embodiment of free will and it is our free will that leads to salvation being accepted or rejected! Great chase adventure fiction.
