The Very Worried Sparrow
by Meryl Doney illustrated by Gaby Hansen
GoodBookStall Review:
A charming short story sympathetically illustrated in pastel colours of a Very Worried Sparrow. He worries about just about everything! He worries about food, he worries about flying; he worries about the sparrow hawk, he worries about the weather: until one evening he meets a gently spoken turtle dove who explains to him about the Great Father who made and knows all things. Next morning he found his voice and sang with joy. This is a story little ones will ask for time and time again.
