In First Steps out of Anxiety, Kate Middleton draws from her expertise as a psychologist and personal experiences to tease out the main issues surrounding anxiety. The book is very readable and makes a complex subject easily accessible both in its layout and language. There are helpful illustrations from real situations and plenty of helpful information for both sufferers and those who care for them. This is not a book for professionals but for those actually grappling with the illness and gives pointers both to the way through, and out.
