The Compact Guide to World Religions
by Sean O’Callaghan
GoodBookStall Review:
This is a great reference tool for both school work and for adults who want an insight into what other faiths believe.
It is a Lion reference book at it's perfected best. Simple language, full colour illustrations throughout, it makes understanding what can be very complex idea's relatively easy to do.
Yes in many ways it is basic, but that's not a bad thing as it is what it's meant to be - a compact guide, a basic starter, with enough detail to allow you good understanding and a grounding in world faiths. It is at the end of the day perfect for school reference material and makes for a really handy book to have if doing comparative religions at an introductory level.
