GoodBookStall Review:
This bible quiz book would be a fun addition to any young person’s efforts to read the Word of God. Children love a bit of testing if it’s done with fun, imagination and reward. Some of the questions are quite arduous for the younger group and may be more suited to young teens, but they could be given as questions to listen out for the answers, before a bible study is given. I always think that the bible stories are fun and interesting to learn, but can be complimented by the challenge to learn some of the details as well. As Jacoby states in the foreword ‘it doesn’t need to be an either/or’ when it comes to learning the stories of the bible and loving the Lord our God with all our hearts. The quizzes are well separated into different areas of interest such as Jesus, Paul and Peter, or Books of the Bible, or Kings of the Bible, but the AtoZ section also gives complete overview knowledge a test with the hint of the first letter aiding the cause. This is a good book for testing young people on their bible knowledge, which should be done with fun and imagination as, I believe, this author has intended.
