In a world of smart phones with apps and real time online gaming, this book is a hark back to good old fashioned word searches to stimulate the brain with a bit of thinking time. The level of challenge progresses on different levels so can be fun for children of many ages once they can recognize letters and spell some words. It’s difficult to mix up the formula for word searches other than just listing the words, but this book manages it well, with a range of extra challenges such as missing words from verses, words with stories or passages and even acronyms to help remember bible values, these word searches are a fun way for young people to learn their bible, exercise their brain and improve their understanding of who God is. The book provides 96 word searches in total so would be a great addition to any Summer activities list, or to divide up over regular weekends throughout the year. You can see that the creators of these puzzles actually have young people in mind and an experience of the things they would enjoy.
