GoodBookStall Review:
A story told in rhyme is always appealing to the child and to the reader. This one is a delight and has a very serious message. Don’t tell lies! You will end up in trouble and others can be badly hurt. This is what happens to silly Eleanor. Her mother warned her, but No! She wouldn’t listen and continued to tell lies until one day......... but then you’ll have to read the story, it won’t take long unless you linger over the illustrations. I’m not convinced the last picture would really happen but it makes a charming ending.
