This is helped by attractive and colourful illustrations; one mention of cookies instead of biscuits is the only Americanism to bother an English reader. With its helpful introduction – one for children, one for adults, and the Questions and Answers at the back as well as a glossary of words that might puzzle an infant, this is a book that will be loved by little ones and a useful tool to help them learn.
