Knowing and Loving the Bible
Face to Face with God in His World – a 30 Day Journey

GoodBookStall Review:
This is a 30 day study/refresher course in using the bible in quiet time worship. However I wouldn't say that - though split into 30 day sections - it is really suitable for what I consider quiet time worship. The chapters are a tad too long for quiet time, though as a study book in itself it is actually quite good. Looking at the bible and the spirituality of praying and reading the bible daily in enough detail to make it an interesting read with some good insights. The 'my response' sections at the end of each chapter though do make for what I consider good quiet time material - a bible verse to ponder, an extra thought and then a section for my response. The sections in the appendix though are excellent. First a week by week discussion section making this a suitable material for group study! Then a series of devotional bible studies along with a section on bible study tools. This for me ultimately makes this book a great all rounder!
