GoodBookStall Review:
The Simpsons... love them or loath them Bart, Homer, Lisa, Marge and Maggie Simpson are facts of life and anti-heroes for a generation and this resource makes the best of them. Starting with Ned Flanders and the OTT view of goody Christians we look at what it really means for God to love us, then on to Itchy & Scratchy for the consequences of Sin, Homer and Do-nuts for temptation and on, make this a great resource and its possible that even older groups would quite enjoy these studies as well! Well written, great modern resource.
This is part of an excellent series of Resources for the 9-13 age range, aimed particularly at the peripherally churched, it is great stuff. Each resource starts with a great introduction that covers the essentials of Children’s Work first and then looks at why this particular subject is being used. The handouts are photocopiable and the sessions are easy to follow for any leader.
