Gill’s classic textbook is a must-read for any student of theological ethics, and this timely update adds important new readings to the already comprehensive list of contents. Additions include extended readings on, amongst other subjects, natural law, virtue ethics and sex and gender issues. The revisions have a knock-on effect, of course, and this reviewer has spent a number of hours updating teaching materials to reflect the new pagination. But this is a minor irritation - and a price worth paying to keep this important volume bang up to date.
