GoodBookStall Review:
From a European point of view this is a fascinating glimpse into the theological, cultural and practical problems involved in discovering an authentically African proclamation of the Gospel written by and for African Christians. I hope, however, that it will not be treated simply as a book for specialists, since reading it is a helpful antidote to a certain parochialism that can hamper the vision of any national church. These essays remind us that Jesus Christ is indeed ‘for all mankind’ and the challenges to our own cultural presuppositions that this reality entails.
