Enabling Children to Praise God Through Music

A Kaleidoscope Resource

GoodBookStall Review:
This little book aims to help you explore the different ways in which children can praise God through music. The first half of the book is a primer and practical guide, which can be used as the basis for a training course, or studied by individuals or groups. A key message is that you don't have to be an expert musician - you just need a little basic skill and a bit of self-confidence. The second half of the book contains a small collection of songs which serve as practical examples for trying out the different ideas and techniques described. A few of the songs are secular rather than Christian in nature, which is likely to limit their usefulness. But it's rare to find a music book from which you'd use every song! Anyone using this book is likely to find new ways in which they can use music creatively and imaginatively to enrich the worship experience of the children they work with - and give a sense of achievement as well.
