A Practical Workbook for the Depressed Christian
by Dr John Lockley
GoodBookStall Review:
Dr Lockley writes from his own experience of depression, and many years as a GP helping others, family and sufferers alike. Unlike him, I only had a brief period of depression following retirement, but enough to recognize so much of what he is saying. I saw the recent Video Workshop for the Depressed ChristianVC586, £19.95 before I looked at the book. Four hour long programmes, each divided into thirty minute segments, but I was so engrossed I wanted to go on and on till the end. Now I have the book, and as I hoped, it is very similar, and as you read, you feel Dr Lockley is there speaking to you. Please, please, if you are suffering yourself, or know someone in your church who is, look at this book or the video, you will see things in a different light.
