A book devised for those working with children in a church based context, how children learn and grow, with some sensible advice on planning and running a programme. I found this book offers good pointers toward running a programme, including building a team, how to use the bible, prayer etc.. It is a good book if you're with reasonable well-rounded children who come from disciplined homes (or dare I say it, those from the typical "middle class background of the UK church"). It's a good starting base - but as ever, use this to go deeper. Children's work is very rewarding when we dig deeper!
