90,000 Hours
Managing the World of Work
by Rodney Green
GoodBookStall Review:
‘90,000 hours is the amount of time you will probably spend at work during your lifetime. Is this just a way of paying the bills? Is our work the only way we know of defining our identity? Or do we dare see our work as worthwhile in itself?’ Rodney Green writes from a position of authority on this subject, which is well researched, well rooted in Scripture, and well grounded in the reality of contemporary work. While examining themes of creativity, rest, harmony and perseverance from a biblical perspective, it also looks at stress, anger, productivity and suffering, and argues that God wants us to see our work as worthwhile in itself. I found this easy to read, with much to catch my attention. Do read it!
