God calls Christians to be in the world, but not of the world. To help youth groups and young adults towards this goal Phil Bowyer, of Tear Fund, has written this superb study course. Unlike many similar resources it is as suitable for use in the country as in the city, though some groups may find the 15 sessions too many especially if they try and do it in one term. Express Community challenges assumptions such as social action and evangelism being seperate activities, and starts a process that can be carried on via the web and through other Tear Fund Resources. While aimed at those between 12 and 30, this book has a life with older groups as well. A must for the bookshelf.
