This is a reshuffle of intercessions by Fawcett which have appeared elsewhere, sometimes more than once, now arranged under themes. If you already have a Fawcett shelf you probably won't need this reprint, but it could be a handy volume to put in the hand of the Sunday intercessor, either to use as it stands or to inspire ideas, if the need is for a themed approach rather than prayer arising from the lections. The prayers are sensitive and solid, though they can stray towards the compendious and worthy - hard to avoid in this sort of general writing - so teach your intercessors how to add more material of the moment too.
