The question of children and Communion is one that is especially apposite within the Church of England at present. There has been much learned discussion as to whether children should receive Holy Communion before Confirmation - and there is as yet no agreement! In this reviewers eyes, this booklet is a real help, to parents and indeed to parish priests who are faced with the difficult decision about what to do when the very young ask to share in the ultimate act of worship. There are some very sensible suggestions here, and we have been given an excellent pastoral tool which should be used frequently.
