Children in the Heart of God
A Biblical Perspective for Church and Home
by Dave Gidney
GoodBookStall Review:
How does the Bible view children, and what does it say about their salvation and their involvement in the church? This book is a real eye opener for anyone leading young children in a church setting. It directly challenges our thinking as to how a child understands basic truths and how we should engage with them. Another book from the ‘Children’s Ministry’ range and it’s certainly worthwhile. Key questions are asked: How does God’s covenant relationship apply to children today? At what age is a child in need of salvation? What can we learn from the family in OT times? What is God’s heart for children? What is the role of children in public worship? The first few pages of this book clearly express the need to revamp and change utterly the direction of our children’s work. An excellent book.
