The Story of Easter
by Christopher Doyle and John Haysom
GoodBookStall Review:
Told clearly and following close to the Bible story, the re-telling is enhanced by the realistic illustrations. They help the reader’s imagination as they move from scene to scene. I liked the fact that the story does not finish at Easter day, but continues to some of the times Jesus appeared to his followers later, Thomas finding it so hard to believe the resurrection is really true, and Jesus cooking the fishermen disciple’s breakfast on the shore. I really liked this.
