The Church needs much more story-telling. As a means of giving young children mental images this book is really good. It offers ten stories and guided meditations. All of which invite children to use their imagination. Each story is told from the viewpoint of a child and is set within its historical and social background. The stories are taken from the gospels and the meditations are followed by questions which help the children to enter the story. A good book.
