DIY Guide to All-age Worship

12 Services for Common Worship year B

by Tim Storey

GoodBookStall Review:
The author of this resource takes an honest approach to ‘all age’ worship. Pitching such a service is tricky, and some practical and sensible advice is offered here. This book concentrates on three principles; What is the one thing you want them [the congregation] to take away? What is the one issue you want to challenge them about? What is the one thing you want them to apply in their lives? The author recognizes our rapidly changing culture, there are services for most of the year’s calendar and the book is well structured. It provides clear guidelines, such as who does the service, timing, what to put in and what to leave out, so much so, that with a little work, I suggest you could fly with one of these services and surprise your congregation.
