GoodBookStall Review:
If you have ever read C S Lewis’ Screwtape Letters you will recognise this style immediately. If you have not, it will not spoil your enjoyment of this book. Wormwood is now a senior devil, and he is replying to emails from a junior devil who he is attempting to mentor, although he is not really in charge of him. The ‘client’ in question is dealing with such problems as his wife’s pregnancy, the question of abortion, his lifestyle, search for a spirituality to suit himself etc. Although amusing to read, we are faced with modern attitudes that are all around us. The couple win through to Baptism but the struggle goes on.
